SandyRosenAFSCME/HUCTW retireeI too once lost my job at a hospital for union organizing. We narrowly missed winning the NLRB union vote, so we were forced to go to NLRB court on my behalf. Although I ostensibly won back pay and my job in court, the bosses appealed and the decision was overturned. I'm retired now but since that unionizing effort, I have been a member of two unions. Through first hand experience I know not to put confidence in the bosses or their courts. We must place that confidence in ourselves, and our fellow workers. Our ability to organize and unionize is how we can effectively stand up for the needs of all workers, and to stand up for what is just and right. You have my wholehearted support.
